Filoni also said that he hopes to make the battles during the Clone Wars bigger and span out over multiple episodes. He confirmed that there are plans to do more three episode arcs in the future but pointed out that there will still be a few fun stand alone episodes in season four (one of the stand alone episodes is set to feature C-3PO and R2-D2). He also stated that there was no plans to do a season long arc anytime soon.
Dave Filoni was quick to point out that we should expect to see some characters return for season four. Filoni stated that characters such as Cad Bane, Boba Fett, and Savage Opress will be featured in episodes next season. He also teased that the character Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff is going to voice will make the fans very happy. In addition to character news, he revealed that legendary editor Walter Murch (most famous for his work in "Apocalypse Now") will be directing an upcoming episode in season four.
