According to the Los Angeles Times, screenwriter Kevin Jarre passed away earlier this month after suffering heart failure on April 3. He was 56 when he passed away. Jarre is most famous for writing the story for "Rambo: First Blood II", as well as writing "Glory" and "Tombstone". Jarre also wrote the screen story for the remake of "The Mummy" (which he also executive produced) and wrote "The Devil's Own". He also served as a producer for "The Jackal". Jarre was born on August 6, 1954 in Detroit, but later moved to Los Angeles with his mother, actress Laura Devon.
