Thor is the story of the Norse god Thor played by Chris Helmsworth. His father, Odin, played by Anthony Hopkins, was the king of Asgard, and Thor was set to take over the throne. As Odin was about to make Thor king, there was a problem with an old enemy. Thor, being a warrior, thought that the only way to protect Asgard would be to attack the enemy. He and a group of his warriors did that against direct orders from Odin and Thor was exiled to the planet Earth. Meanwhile, his brother, Loki played by Tom Hiddleston was planning to take over the throne of Asgard. While on Earth, Thor had to learn to live without his powers which, of course, was very frustrating for god who was used to being very powerful. His trials on Earth finally helped him learn the many lessons that his dad had tried to teach him about being a good ruler. It also taught him humility. He fell in love with Jane Foster played by Natalie Portman. He also learned to like the humans on Earth. The story was good and the acting was also good. I enjoyed the movie. I give it 4 paws up and a tail wag which is an 8 out of 10 on Jeff’s stupid human movie scale.
