Jellystone is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and attendence is down so the mayor wants to close it down so he can make money from the land. Since it is Yogi and Boo Boo’s home, they join forces with the ranger to try to make sure that does not happen. However, as usual, Yogi does cause a few problems along the way. I can’t tell you how it turns out because there are still those reading this who may not have seen the movie yet. One particularly cute scene has the ranger’s soda machine in Yogi’s den because he says it is “defective, every time a bear kicks it, it gives out a free can of soda”. Anyway, for those who are familiar with Yogi Bear and his exploits, I think you will agree that this movie stays very true to Yogi’s personality.
I found this movie very enjoyable, and I give it 3 paws up, a tail wag, and a tummy rub. That would be 8 out of 10 according to Jeff’s movie rating system.
