Kevin Smith is one of the most gifted comedy filmmakers of his era. Kevin Smith has directed many cult classics such as “Clerks” (which he also wrote and produced), “Mallrats” (which he also wrote), “Chasing Amy” (which he also wrote), “Dogma” (which he also wrote), “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back” (which he also wrote), “Jersey Girl” (which he also wrote), “Clerks II” (which he also wrote), “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” (which he also wrote), “Cop Out” and “Red State” (which he also wrote). Smith will also direct and write the upcoming film “Hit Somebody”. On the small screen, Smith directed the pilot episode of “Reaper” (which he also executive produced). Smith has also produced projects such as “Good Will Hunting” and the animated television show “Clerks” (which he also wrote for). Kevin Smith is also famous for having written the screenplay for “Superman Lives” which would have starred Nicolas Cage as Clark Kent/Kal-El/Superman and it would have been directed by Tim Burton. That project died and years later “Superman Returns” was finally released with a different script, cast and director.
