I went to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon earlier this week. So far, this movie has done very well at the box office, but I can only say that, as far as I’m concerned, it was money that was not well spent. Shia LaBeouf reprised his role as Sam Witwicky. The story line wasn’t particularly good. I didn’t mind some of the historical footage at the beginning of the movie, but after that it was all downhill as far as this dog is concerned. However, if your idea of an enjoyable movie is to see things blown up, this is definitely the movie for you. By the time the movie got to the last battle scene, I didn’t really care which side won as long as the movie ended so I could go to McDonalds and get myself a couple of cheeseburgers. Several dogs had cameos in the movie, and even the dogs couldn’t make it a good movie. When a dog can’t save a movie, you know it isn’t good. I have no idea why so many people rushed to see this movie, but I was one of them. I do have one good thing to say about the theatre. It was free popcorn day at our local theatre (which was a pleasant surprise), and that made the popcorn good because it was warm. Sometimes the theatres make it ahead of time and it gets kind of cold, but on free popcorn day, it is usually warm. It didn’t make the movie any better, but it did make the snacking during the movie better. I give the movie a slap of the paw. I give the popcorn 4 paws up and a tail wag. As you know, I have to use Jeff’s stupid human movie rating system so I give the movie a 3 out of 10. The popcorn gets a 10 out of 10.
